BA Hons (Major in Design)
London Guildhall University
Following graduation, I worked as trainee for small design company, Art Associates. I then worked as a freelance Mac operator/artworker for a few months before joining Kingsway Advertising, a London advertising agency, as a junior designer.
Over a period of 8 years my career at Kingsway took me to senior designer level. I worked on many new business projects at a time when the company experienced huge growth from £1million - £35million turnover. Clients included large NHS Trusts, Local Government and Universities as well as commercial companies such as Body Shop, Lotus and Diesel.
Working primarily on design of press adverts, recruitment materials and property marketing brochures, I also pioneered the use of digital cameras and digital video in the company.
During latter years at Kingsway (now part of the Tribal Group), I trained in website design and became the company webmaster. I left Kingsway in 2003 to become a freelance designer.
Since then I have worked for a wide variety of clients from multi-nationals to individuals. I have particular expertise in designing and implementing websites and corporate identity for churches and charities.
How much do you charge?
I can work for an hourly rate or on a fixed price basis. I cannot give
exact quotes here and prices will vary between types of project. In general
my prices would compare very competitively to those charged by design agencies,
especially some of the exorbitant prices often quoted for web design. Please
contact me to discuss pricing.
What is 3Sixty Creative?
3Sixty Creative is my 'trading name' but not the name of a registered
company. I am self-employed. The name 3Sixty reflects the diverse and
all-round nature of the projects I can undertake. I am a sole trader
and do not charge VAT.
Can you provide, ISP, website hosting, or domain name registration services?
No, but I know a man who can. I can recommend people who will provide these
services or organise it for you. I do not get commission for this and
so my advice is completely independent.
Do you provide printing services?
I am not a printer but I design artwork for clients which is then sent
to a printer. I can oversee the repro process (The process of taking
artwork and getting it ready to actually print) and have good working
relationships with several printers. I can organise quotes, repro, printing
(digital or litho) and delivery. I do not make commission or profit on
printing and usually I arrange for the printer to invoice you directly.
Where are your offices?
I live and work in Brighton. I am willing
to travel for short periods if a project demands and attend client meetings
in the South East. Alternatively you can visit me at my office by prior
arragement.
